🗳️ Sarasota County urges early return of mail ballots for Nov. 3

Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner is asking voters to return vote-by-mail ballots early for the Nov. 3 general election. Ballots sent by mail should go out by Oct. 27 so they arrive by the 7 p.m. Election Day deadline, and the return envelope needs one Forever stamp (82 cents of postage). Voters can also drop ballots off in person at the secure stations inside county elections offices, or at any of 11 early voting locations from Oct. 19 through Nov. 1, open daily 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. On Election Day, Nov. 3, drop-off hours are 7 AM to 7 PM. Two new drop-off sites this year are North Port Village and Twin Lakes Park. Return instructions, ballot tracking and notification sign-ups are at SarasotaVotes.gov/Instructions.
