Rain, rain, go away. Were all for rain but not during the weekend, save that for the work week thank you. Forecast for this upcoming week/weekend is looking much friendlier for all the fall activities going on, quite a few events were negatively affected by the rain over the last few days so I would assume they may be even busier this coming weekend. Get out there early and be prepared for extra crowds if you are heading out to have some fall fun this week.
Lots of fall celebrations continue this week, we have a local haunt popping up at the fairgrounds and a Fleetwood Mac tribute band performs next weekend in Sarasota. Also, get your early voting ballots in and midnight pass to remain open?

Peachey's is an awesome local donut spot that was shared with us by some friends and we have been hooked ever since. Family owned and operated right here in Sarasota, Peachey's delivers some very unique handcrafted donuts, not the normal small round donut your used too, these donuts are soft delicious monster sized donuts that are fried up fresh right in front of you. Stop in and grab a 4 pack and a coffee, then grab a seat and enjoy the laid back atmosphere. They have two locations, one at 999 Cattlemen rd. and one at 4800 S Tamiami Trl. If you are a donut fan you wont be dissapointed, when we have friends in from out of town, Peachey's is one of the places we wont let them leave without trying.
📍 999 Cattlemen Rd Unit E, Sarasota, FL 34232Visit their site →A spooky trivia question for this week.
Historic Spanish Point! Mary's Chapel there is named for Mary Sherrill, a 20-year-old who came to the Webb family's winter resort in 1892 hoping to recover from tuberculosis and died just weeks after arriving. Folklore says you can still hear faint church bells there at night.
Cat (Domestic Shorthair)
Jasper is a neutered 3-year-old black cat who weighs about 9 lbs. Black cats are the last to get adopted, so with Halloween coming up he'd love a home of his own. He's waiting at Cat Town Adoption Center in Bradenton. To meet him, email adoptions@mymanatee.org or call (941) 742-5933.
Available at Manatee County Animal Services
